It is an army bred for a single purpose: To rid the world of leftists.
The first article at The Asylum was posted on 10/12/03. Sometime during the night, The Asylum passed 10,000 unique visitors. Not much in comparison to the big boys who get 100,000 a day but my site is a lot less “mainstream” shall we say, and 10,000 in the first year is more than I had hoped for – especially for a site that is usually updated only once or twice a week.
Big thanks must go to former presidential candidate Michael Cooper, Emperor Darth Misha I over at the Rott, and the Poisoner of Pigeons herself, Elizabeth M for all the traffic they have sent my way.
And special thanks must go to Mike Jericho who, with his Australian Bloggers Alliance and his invitation to be a contributor at A Western Heart, really has helped kick my traffic along. Thanks Mike! The system does work.
Thanks to all who have linked to The Asylum – both on their own volition and in accordance with the Australian Bloggers Alliance requirement – thank you for any traffic you have sent.
An exception is to any leftists that have linked to the various articles for various reasons. I will take the traffic you send but I won’t thank you for it – you treasonous scum.
Oh and a sooper dooper thanks must go to Google whose bizarre search logic has (mis)directed some very disturbing search strings (and by reason of logic some very disturbed people) to my site. You sickos know who you are. Best you shape yourselves up because once I become undisputed Lord, Master, and Emperor of the Galactic Earth Empire and all its interstellar colonies, such sick individuals will not be permitted to exist and continue to steal oxygen as they are in today’s society.
So here’s to another year and another visitor count ten thousand strong.
