I’ll let you in on a secret. People working for government agencies tend to either be lazy or stupid. Or both. I sent a fax a while back requesting for something to be done. About 2 months later (must have been placed in the priority queue), I received a call from someone who could barely mutter out an audible sentence, let alone be fit for employment anywhere, because he was so stupid.

There is also supposed to be a requirement for people to be able to speak English. But apparently there isn’t. Talk to Tiberius about this one. He seems to have had to speak to everyone in the government who doesn’t speak English properly. I digress.

Another example supporting this walking personification of stupidity is that he gave me his full name, repeated to me twice, and in true Merewenne style, I have decided to perform a few background checks on this person. As I suspected, my spies have confirmed that he can't even spell his own name in the organisation, let alone process a complicated instruction which is in front of him and is as broad as daylight.

He asked me to confirm my figures and add up what I had already originally faxed him. I concluded he could not use a calculator seeing as I had to go over it five times with him and each time he came upon a different figure.

Get this, he wanted me to send ANOTHER fax to confirm what I had sent in the first fax.

It plagued me for a few minutes after I hung up the phone.

Then I came across a perfect example to further illustrate that I was dealing with an idiot.

Reading anything is not the problem. You’re just lazy!!! Or stupid. Or both.

Please don’t waste Merewenne’s time getting her to tell you how to do YOUR jobs which YOU have the audacity to receive salary for....
