The REAL story of Harry Potter
I just want JK Rowling to know I am on to her.
She didn't create the story of Harry Potter. She might have "borrowed" the ideas for it and changed them slightly but she didn't create it. I bet the process of creating Harry Potter went something like this...
Back in 1985, JK Rowling saw a movie called Troll. She liked what she saw and thought "Hmmm. That gives me the idea for a series of stories about that boy and what would happen if he went on with further magic training. But I can't write them now as everyone will know I ripped off this movie so I better just wait awhile for everyone to forget this film."
And being a B-grade horror film that probably went straight to video, she would have figured that nobody would remember the film in fourteen or fifteen years. And so, fourteen or fifteen years later we are bombarded by a great "new" story about a boy named Harry Potter.
But she didn't count on me being a fan of all things B-grade, nor on the advent of dvd delivering all these forgotten films to another audience.
And now she has been caught out.
Don't believe me?
Well let's take a look at this movie Troll.
A troll takes on the form of Harry Potter's young sister and begins taking over apartments in their building and turning the tenants into elves, goblins, and hobgoblins. However in this building there also lives a wise old witch who has battled with the troll before and it falls to her and Harry to save his sister and prevent the troll from taking over the world.
Sure, Rowling killed off Harry's family in an attempt to fool us into believing it is an original character and story but let's take a closer look.
A story of magic? Check.
Elves? Check.
Trolls? Check
Goblins? Check.
A wise old witch? Check.
A young boy named Harry Potter? Check.
See. I even turned the subtitles on to prove it!
Nope. I don't see any similarities there...
And we are supposed to believe all this is coincidence? I don't think so. BUSTED!
Now you know the truth about Harry Potter.
I hope the producers of Troll sue Rowling for millions of dollars because then I will sue them for roughly 95% of what they got off Rowling. After all, were it not for my awesome investigative skills, they wouldn't even know that they had been ripped off. I rule!
