Another dog attack, lowlife scum allowed off scott free
It has taken me a few days to calm down enough where I can write about this without getting my blood pressure up too high....
Another completely preventable dog attack, a gorgeous little girl dies as a result, and once again the party most responsible is given a free pass, with more calls for banning dogs and the RSPCA demanding the dog owners be prosecuted.
Now, if the dogs were roaming the street unsupervised, then yes, the owners should be prosecuted. If they dogs were down at the park unmuzzled, then yes. But the dogs were not roaming the street, nor were they at the park. These dogs were secure in their own yard.
So what happened? The little four year old girl wandered into their yard, COMPLETELY UNSUPERVISED, FROM 6 HOUSES AWAY!!!! She wandered down the street, climbed a small fence out the front, then a higher wire fence into the backyard, and then had to get into a cage where the dogs were kept. (That’s right - the dogs were not roaming freely around the backyard, they were in a cage in the backyard) How the fuck does a 4 year old child get out a house and wander 6 houses away?
Disgustingly negligent parenting killed that little girl. The parents are solely responsible for this. If they had been doing their fucking jobs as parents, that little girl would still be alive.
But rather than place the blame where it belongs, you have the usual fuckwits blaming the dogs - the same dogs that were locking in a cage in their own backyard.
Yes, some breeds are stronger/more aggressive (Akitas, Pit Bulls, Japanese Tosas, but no, German Shepherds are not amongst them) than others (Labradors, Spaniels etc). And many more are considered to be somehow aggressive or dangerous, mostly completely unfairly. Now according to these fuckwits, I probably should have been mauled to death every single day for the past 8 years or so by now, what with my encounters with the various breeds. So let’s take a closer look at the vicious breeds I encounter:
Doberman pinschers – there are several down at the park where I walk my dogs. Two especially are very big and never stop running. They run and play and I have never heard a bark from them towards either people or dogs.
Rottweilers –There are two regulars down at the local park. Gentle giants both of them, only causing the other dogs to yelp when paws accidentally get stepped on.
Blue Heelers – I personally don’t like Blue Heelers. Stout, snubby looking things and they can be very snappy, yet those down at the park are more content to chase a ball or a stick than attack children and other dogs.
German Shepherds – Again there are two regulars, both massive dogs. One is only interested in chasing sticks and honkey nuts, the other is more content to just sniff around in the bushes and hasn’t shown any interest in playing with the other dogs, let alone showing any aggression towards them.
Staffordshire terriers – One pure breed, a couple of cross breeds. Again supposedly aggressive dogs, yet all they seem to do is run over and try to get the other dogs to chase them around the oval.
All these supposedly aggressive dogs, yet they all get together, males and females, and all run around and play together along with many other breeds with never a fight between any of them. At times, there have been more than 20 dogs all running around together, yet no blood has ever been drawn.
And why is that?
It is probably the same reason why my uncle’s pit bull never attacked anyone or anything. He had an albino pit bull and I have never seen such a docile dog. I never heard it bark. I never saw it show any sign of aggressive or move at any great speed – not after a ball, not after a cat or a bird sitting on its fence, not for its dinner or a treat.
It is also probably the same reason why my sister’s German Shepherd has never attacked anyone or anything.
And it is same reason why my dogs have never attacked anyone or anything.
It’s because the owners of these dogs are all responsible people and have brought their dogs up correctly. The owners are not low life trash waiting for their next handout from the government, blaming everyone but themselves for their lot. The dogs are not mistreated or neglected. They are loved, well cared for and are properly trained and disciplined.
More than blaming the dogs, have a look at the dog’s owners. Those low life scum who mistreat dogs and bring it up to deliberately be aggressive and uncontrollable by laughing when the dog has a go at a cat or a bird or another dog or someone walking past and encouraging it. The dog is left chained in the backyard all day and the only discipline the dog gets is when the it is bashed when its owners drunk/drugged up.
And unfortunately, the low life parents of these poor children are also the problem. In the attack a couple of weeks ago, the child was PLAYING OUT THE FRONT OF THE HOUSE UNSUPERVISED when attacked by a dog. I saw an interview with the mother, with piercings all over her face, telling us how she heard the cries and ran out of the house and “frew stuff at the dog and yelled at it but didn’t fink the dog was going to let go.”
Yes the dog owner should be prosecuted for not having the dog on a leash while out in the street, but this stupid bitch should also be prosecuted for letting her kids out the front near the road without being supervised. Nevermind the dog attack, what if one of the kids had run out on the road? What if a paedophile had been driving past?
Typical low life. These people are the problem. Not the dogs.
As one astute acquaintance said “If you hop into an animal enclosure at the zoo and you get mauled, nothing happens because you are at fault for invading the animal’s territory and it is considered to have been defending itself. But should you jump into someone’s yard and invade a dog’s territory, it is somehow the dog’s and owner’s fault and the dog is not defending itself, it is considered to have attacked you.”
Forget licensing only dog owners. Parents should also need to be licensed before being allowed to have kids....
