Blame for the aftermath

Today, renowned race-baiting huckster Jesse Jackass took time out from impregnating female staffers long enough to get in front of the television cameras and cash in on the tragedy in New Orleans. Being the good lackey for the Democrat party he is, he told CNN that it’s all Bush’s fault. He then launched into a list of three points (starting with “A,” following up with “#2” and switching back to alphabetical order by concluding with point “C”). His points were the typical, uninformed tripe one would expect from him and his ilk. He said that the hurricane was caused by Global Warming, that the flooding was because Bush had diverted money from strengthening the levy into the War in Iraq, and that we didn’t have the troops and helicopters ready.

Anyone who has taken a serious interest in what has been happening in Louisiana over the past week knows that this is just more urban legend bullshit. Even assuming global warming is true, nothing Bush could have done in the past five years would have had an effect. Climate change isn’t something that can be controlled in a few years (if at all). Secondly (or “point B” I should say), the levy isn’t Bush’s responsibility. Nor is it mine. As a taxpayer, I am totally against building New Orleans back the way it was. And it may interest Jesse to know that the part of the levy that broke was the part that was renovated in 2004. Finally, the troops, helicopters, etc., were (and are) in good supply. So where were the troops? They left the city like they were told to do (there was a mandatory evacuation before the storm hit, remember?). After the hurricane hit (and the levy broke), it was extremely difficult to coordinate the Guard and swiftly get them back into town.

That isn’t to say that the feds aren’t totally blameless. Like I said, I have studied this more than most Americans, and I feel that it’s time to assign blame where it belongs.

Hurricane Katrina God is to blame for this one. Or Gaia. Or Mother Nature. However you want to say it, this was not a man-made event, and nothing on this earth, Middle Earth, the moon, or the Neutral Zone could have stopped it. End of story.

The Flooding The dipshits who designed (and lived in) a city located below sea level (and surrounded by water) are to blame for this. I realize it’s considered heresy to suggest that the city be rebuilt differently than it was, but I’ve heard a prominent Democrat politician and a prominent Republican politician say we should do so (and they were excoriated for it). Tough. I agree with them.

But the real tragedy is the unimaginable human suffering as a result of the storm and the ensuing floods. Blame should be shared as follows:

Kathleen Blanco – 25%

The governor of Louisiana clearly dropped the ball on this one. Coming out to CNN and crying on camera does nothing to make up for the fact that she refused to allow FEMA to take control over the evacuations this week, and as of Sunday night STILL has not declared a State of Emergency . When asked about this, an aide to Ms. Blanco said that if they did that, the feds would be able to criticize the governor for any missteps or screwups prior to their takeover. No shit…. But the truly offensive news is that a disaster plan from January 2001 dictated that in the event of a mandatory evacuation of New Orleans, the people who were unable to get out of the city (the poor, the injured, the sick) were to be shuttled out on the hundreds of school busses (thanks to LGF) and public vehicles in the city. Not only did Ms. Blanco fail to enact this policy, the hundreds of busses and city trucks (that sat idle as the flood waters rose) only contributed to the ecological disaster (as their gasoline, motor oil, and transmission fluid mixed in with the flood waters).

Ray Nagin – 20%

Mr. Nagin, the foul-mouthed angry mayor of New Orleans has been pretty quick to lash out at President Bush. However, as MAYOR OF THE FUCKING CITY, it was his job to ensure that as many people as possible left during the mandatory evacuation (voluntarily or otherwise, using the above mentioned plan). He is the one who is immediately responsible for the suffering of so many of the elderly and handicapped in his city. Asshole.

Homey the Thug – 20%

One thing that the news hasn’t reported (and never will be) is that some people stayed in New Orleans deliberately for the sole purpose of looting and living out some sick hip-hop homey thug fantasy after the storm hit. I do not for one second buy into the bullshit that this is somehow “society’s” fault. These chimps have no impulse control, no pride, no morals, and have caused more black people to suffer than Robert Byrd (D) did when he was in the Klan. They played a big part in rescue and recovery efforts being thwarted and delayed.  I hope to Christ that the National Guard gets to pop some of these human shit stains. If any good came out of this chaos, it was that we all got to see firsthand what kind of world we would have if the leftist traitors had their way and we disbanded the “fascist” police.

The Welfare State- 15%

In addition to normal blacks, homey thug blacks, the elderly, and the handicapped, a large percentage of the people who remained in New Orleans were welfare recipients. Does this mean they “deserved” to suffer? Absolutely not. However, it was sad to see so many 300 lb heifers carrying their tiny infants around looking for water and food. These women clearly aren’t fit to be parents under NORMAL circumstances, much less during and after a disaster of this magnitude. The Welfare State has allowed these people to rely 100% on others for their sustenance, and they were not willing to leave town before the first of the month (because that’s when their welfare checks arrive). Sad. Just fucking sad.

Mike Brown and FEMA – 10%

Mr. Brown, the head of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), needs to be held to account. If anyone should be fired, it is him. When Governor Blanco refused to allow FEMA to take over the evacuations, he should have gone right to the president and told him so. He should have been out in front of the cameras saying what could and would happen, and humiliated her into letting him do his job (He should have read my article on “female logic.” Then he would have known what to do). As the head of FEMA, it is his job (like it or not) to coordinate relief efforts for national disasters such as this. The flooding was ALWAYS a possibility, and he should have had a plan (even if it wasn’t 100% effective). In my job, I’m measured solely by RESULTS (and he should be, too).

Michael Chertoff – 5%

As head of Homeland Security, Mr. Chertoff (an extremely intelligent man) should have done a better job. He should have confirmed that Mr. Brown was prepared for what could happen (and more importantly, he should have made sure the rescue operations were a priority). I don’t think he should be fired, but he doesn’t escape blame.

President Bush – 5%

Although the president doesn’t preside over disaster relief and evacuations, he is ultimately responsible for the actions (or inactions) of Mr. Chertoff and Mr. Brown. And his speeches and press conferences a couple of days after the disaster were absolutely dreadful. Sure, he kicked his Southern drawl up a couple of notches, but joking about “partying too much” in New Orleans when he was younger is just not fucking funny right now. He should have gotten in front of the cameras. He should have shown compassion, anger, resolve, and leadership. He did none of that, and he has only given fuel to the racists black “leaders” who project their own racism onto him. In his first two press conferences, he sounded like a fucking sales manager discussing a bad fiscal quarter. Jesus, would someone give this guy some public speaking lessons?

Everybody Else – 0%

This includes me, all taxpaying Americans (of all races), capitalism, the War in Iraq, America, and apple pie. Nobody other than those mentioned above deserves one ounce of blame. Oddly enough, my group will be the ones who proudly step forward to help with reconstruction, donate personal money to rescue and humanitarian efforts, and actually take in some of the displaced people of the South into our own homes.

And I’d like to thank America’s true friends around the world for also dipping into their wallets and contributing to the relief efforts. Thank you!

Leftist fuckheads are never going to understand all that, and thus they should be killed before any looters....
