Syrian Band Members Victims of Racial Profiling

Earlier this week we linked to the article "Terror in the Skies, Again?" by Annie Jacobsen. The article described Ms. Jacobsen's experience on a recent flight from Detriot to Los Angeles on which several Middle Easterners terrified the passengers by behaving in a truly bizarre manner. The Middle Eastern passengers turned out to be a touring Syrian musical group sent to America to spread the peaceful word of Islam. Their peaceful actions aboard that flight were clearly misinterpreted by a typical hysterical right-wing American woman, and we will make sure that we never question another Muslim as long as we live.

Not only would we like to apologize to our Muslim brethren, we would like to encourage everybody to go see this group (and buy as many of their albums as possible - proceeds will go to the Palestinian Liberation and Anthrax Fund). Please go see this band!
